White Tailed Sea Eagle, American Bald Eagle, Andean Condor, Eagle Owl and African Fish Eagle make up the BIG 5, your have the opportunity to come face to face with these amazing birds, feel the weight and an ideal opportunity to get souvenier photos. This is followed by free flying these amazing birds as they glide into your arm, see their giant wing span. £60.00 per person Please note this experience is not suitable for children under the age of 16 years. Half Day Introduction and Activity Day or Half Day Owl Experience WAS £78.00 NOW £39.00 Spend half a day either handling and flying a variety of birds or a variety of owls. You will have the opportuntiy to get close to many different species, come face to face with Eagles, experience the silent flight of the owl or the swift flight of the hawk. Join us at the Bird of Prey Centre for our Conservation day, this day is designed to give you an insight into conservation projects across the UK, and have fun with the birds as well. The day starts at 10am with an introduction by the falconers over tea/coffee; you will then be given a guided tour of the centre visiting many of our native species. You will have the opportunity to handle some of our native species, including; Barn Owl, Kestrel, Long Eared Owl, Peregrine Falcon, Red Kite, Golden Eagle, White Tailed Eagle and re-established now in the UK the European Eagle Owl. This is followed by talk given by a vet on what to do if you come across a wild bird or a disabled bird. In the afternoon you will be taken out to a nesting site of a Barn Owl in the hope we can see wild owls and then given a talk by a game keeper on how field margins help our wildlife. We then return to centre and finish off the day by free flying many of our native species, the ideal opportunity to see the birds in flight and to get some souvenir photos.
